Tyler Union donates construction equipment to Cleburne County Career Technical School
January 16, 2025
ANNISTON, Ala., Jan. 16, 2025 – Tyler Union is helping Cleburne County Career Technical School students and operations by donating a skid steer.
“This amazing contribution will have a significant and lasting impact on our students and programs,” said Eric Lovvorn, principal and career technical education director at Cleburne County Career Technical School.
Students will gain hands-on training toward skid steer operation certification with the donated equipment.
“This certification is highly valued in industries like architecture and construction, where skid steers are routinely used for tasks such as moving heavy materials and site preparation. By offering this training, we are giving students the opportunity to earn a College and Career Readiness Indicator (CCRI), a new requirement for graduation starting in the 2025-26 school year.”
The donation will also aid the school operationally by moving heavy materials like steel and block for classes and in driveway maintenance.
