Tyler Union team members complete CNC Machinist Training

Tyler Union (TYU) would like to congratulate Paige Nelson, Demarcus McKinney, Preston Baker, Jermaine Taylor, Ryan White, Eugene Jones and William Gilbert for completing the Basic CNC Machinist Training on January 31st. They were the third class at TYU to complete the Alabama Technology Network (ATN) training course. The ATN training modules are geared to increase overall knowledge of machining concepts by providing a broader understanding in the areas of precision measurement, shop math, tooling, blue print reading and machine operation. Testing in each module then measures their comprehension of the subject matter. After completing the course, the team members are reclassified as CNC Flange Machinist Level 2.

A luncheon was held to recognize and celebrate their accomplishment on February 26 and they each were presented with a Certificate of Achievement.
