Tyler Union expansion at Greenbrier facility set to add manufacturing capabilities, jobs
June 3, 2026
Tyler Union, a division of McWane, LLC, broke ground on the expansion of its machining, coating and assembly operations at its Greenbrier Dear Road location in Anniston, Alabama.
The company has approved a $3.8 million investment for the 27,000-square-foot facility. The space is set to house new drilling equipment, CNC machines, and will create additional room for coating and assembly.
“We are proud to continue investing in Anniston and in the people who make our operations successful,” said VP/GM of McWane Anniston Operations Jon Pollard. “This project gives us further capacity to meet growing market demand while creating additional opportunities for skilled workers in our region.”
The groundbreaking follows the recent completion of the company’s $25 million investment in its Large Diameter Foundry completed in spring 2025. This expansion further underscores Tyler Union’s commitment to increasing its manufacturing capabilities to meet rising demand for materials essential to water infrastructure projects across the country.
This expansion effort is expected to add six to seven hourly employees and two to three manager positions, in addition to the more than 550 employees currently in its workforce.
Forsyth Building Company Inc. is serving as general contractor for the expansion project.
